Jan Bloem
Dr. Jan Bloem (1971) is regarded both nationally and internationally as a top expert in the field of (professional) resilience and martial arts pedagogy. He is a much sought-after trainer and advisor in this area and works in that capacity for police, defense, education and care. He developed the method WIBO (resistance in primary education) and WIVO and various methodologies in the context of the pedagogification of martial arts. Jan was for many years associated with ALO Groningen and ALFA College Sport and Movement as a teacher fighting games. As an expert, Jan has been involved in various criminal cases where physical violence plays a role.
Jan is a clinical human movement scientist and Integrative Movement Therapist and has been working for years as a therapist in mental health care with a focus on counseling violence victims.
